2018 so far
Well, 2018 is certainly underway.
At the end of January the Club had its Annual Presentation evening at The Ship Inn with food, trophies and great company. Trophies included Highest Place at Hampshire Rally, Most Points Scored In Obedience, Best Attendee, Members Choice and Handlers Who Shows Most Promise. Please see the photos below for all the awarded trophies.
As for training: -
Our first puppy course is due to finish next week and we cannot wait to see our littlest members gain their certificates. Each puppy and handler has worked extremely hard in every class (and at home) which has really shown with their progression.
Clever Dogs has been worked hard recently, with trainers getting handlers to think outside of the box and getting their dogs figuring exercises out. Even small exercises such as working to keeping the dogs focus on the handler is really important.
Top Dogs was given the chance last week to experience a round under show conditions with the advantage of constructive criticism. Here at EDDTC we appreciate feedback as we feel it is the only way for us to grow and progress forwards to ensure you gain the benefits.
