What a team
What a fantastic few weeks EDDTC has had.
Our latest Puppy Course is progressing beautifully. With just one more week left, all of our handlers and their puppies are looking on target to achieve their certificates. Each puppy and handler has worked so hard and their progress is visible each week. Particularly young Belle, a Yellow Labrador who first came to us struggling to focus on her own as she found everything else far more interesting. After just a few weeks in, Belle pushed forwards with her training and is continuing to work as a team with her owner. Last week, she was able to complete our gate exercise with such precision. Jess is another puppy who struggled as she wanted to be on the go all the time. But her dedicated owners have worked hard into channelling her energy into the right exercises. On a whole, ALL the puppies have done just fantastically and we cannot wait for next week to see what tricks they have come up with to show the rest of the Club.
Hampshire Rally was a fantastic day! Apart from being extremely hot, handlers and their dogs worked incredibly hard, both individually and as a team with everyone cheering each other on. A special well done to Luke, who worked Erin and got a special mention in the Judges Report. Please click the link to have a read;
Its days like these which make us so proud to have such a wonderful Club and ever more wonderful members. Thank you to all who came and showed support, helped set up and clear away, and brought delicious food. Bring it all on again next year.
Finally, it is with deepest sadness that Kathy and Rob have said a very hard farewell to their darling Dolly. She was a beautiful lady who brought much joy to their lives. Run free lovely lady.
